Any Adult PAIR of competitors can run together; where only one competitor is required to meet all Previous Experience Requirements upon entry. The Adult PAIR must stay together at ALL times on the course. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd PAIRS.
Short Course allows a SOLO Adult (parent/legal guardian) to run with 1 Junior competitor (over 14 yrs); where only the parent/legal guardian is required to meet all Previous Experience Requirements upon entry. The ADULT/JUNIOR PAIR must stay together at ALL times on the course. Prize for 1st ADULT/JUNIOR PAIR
1st Mixed Team Prize – highest 3 results from the same team/club to count and a ‘Mixed Team’ must contain at least 1 female in the highest 3 results
Bus transport from Llanberis to Start in Ogwen Cottage (GR 651601), finish Yr Wyddfa Summit (GR 609543). Main Registration in LLANBERIS on Race Day. NO ARRIVALS/REGISTRATION in Ogwen on Race Day.
Locally based runners may be able to access Llanberis Base on foot/cycle to register, before boarding the coach to the SHORT Course start, if you fancy an early warm up! Please do not arrive on foot to Race Start in Ogwen, you need to register in Llanberis first and use the coach to Race Start.
Public buses to Llanberis Base from Bangor, Caernarfon, Betws y Coed are available on Saturday morning - check https://www.sherparwyddfa.wales/
Various Public Car Park options are available in Llanberis (Pay and Display). Please use car parks available and do not park in residential streets/block access for community and pedestrians. Please do not try and drive direct to Ogwen to start the SHORT Course - you must register in Llanberis and use the coach to Race Start.
Solo £26 (£24 WFRA Member) Pairs £24 (£22 WFRA Members) Junior £16 (£14 WFRA) pre-entry (Fabian4 from 1 Dec) includes compulsory bus travel, souvenir race mug, GPS tracking & post-race chips/hot drink. No EOD.
