Any Adult PAIR of competitors can run together; where only one competitor is required to meet all Previous Experience Requirements upon entry. The Adult PAIR must stay together at ALL times on the course. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd PAIRS.
1st mixed team prize – highest 3 results from the same team/club to count and a ‘mixed team’ must contain at least 1 female in the highest 3 results
Bus transport from Llanberis to Registration and Start from near Abergwyngregyn (GR 654728), finish Yr Wyddfa Summit (GR 609543). Main Registration in Abergwyngregyn on Race Day. (NO PARKING in Abergwyngregyn). NO REGISTRATION in Llanberis.
Locally based runners may be able to access Llanberis Base on foot/cycle before boarding the coach to the LONG Course start, if you fancy an early warm up! If you have opted to arrive direct to RACE START in Aber, you may live close enough to arrive on foot/cycle - lucky you! There is nowhere formal to leave any cycles at Race Start.
Unfortunately, no public transport is available at this early time to access Llanberis Base or Race Start in Aber. After the race, public buses back towards Bangor, Caernarfon, Betws y Coed are available from Llanberis Base during the Saturday - check https://www.sherparwyddfa.wales/
Various Public Car Park options are available in Llanberis (Pay and Display). Please use car parks available and do not park in residential streets/block access for community and pedestrians. If you have chosen to arrive direct at Race Start in Aber, this is for ‘DROP OFF’ only and there is no day car parking available in Aber village or Race Start.
Solo £36 (£34 WFRA Member) Pairs £34 (£32 WFRA Members) pre-entry (Fabian4 from 1 Dec) includes bus travel, souvenir race mug, GPS tracking & post-race chips/hot drink. No EOD.
